Camping Place Paninis

Grilled cheese” Italian Style” with mortadella, pesto and creamy taleggio. Prepare the paninis at home and brush with olive oil. Can be eaten on the go but be careful! When pressured, the melted taleggio tends to erupt.

Ingredients:

8 slice mortadella
8 slice tallegio cheese
4 tbsp pesto
8 sundried tomatoes
Olive Oil
Salt & pepper
8 slice sourdough bread

Instructions:

PREPARE AT HOME
01 Make the paninis, smear the pesto on the inside of the bread slices and brush the outside with olive oil. Wrap them in baking parchment.
COOK OUTSIDE
01 Unwrap and grill the sandwiches on a sandwich iron or under pressure in a saucepan. You can also keep the wrapping on if more convenient.
02 When the cheese start melting the panini is ready to serve.
