Grilled halloumi burgers

Classic hamburger condiments bring out the best in the halloumi burger. Grill the cheese whole to avoid the risk of it falling through the grill. This also minimizes the risk of the cheese becoming hard, dry and burnt.

Ingredients:
2 pack halloumi
4 hamburger buns
Green salad
2 tomatoes
Pickled gherkins
Red onion
Mayonnaise
Ketchup
Mustard
Instructions:
COOK OUTSIDE

Place all the cheese on the grill.

Grill until browned and soft all the way through.

Grill the hamburger bun gently over the flame.

Cut the halloumi into slices.

Assemble the burger with mustard, lettuce leaves, halloumi, red onion, gherkins, tomato, ketchup and mayonnaise.

Eat before the cheese has cooled.
